How my journey began
In 2014 at the ripe age of 9, Keeley was seeking a new hobby and something to call her own. Living in Nashville, TN she had numerous options at her fingertips and tried several instruments but nothing felt quite right. After attending a wedding and seeing a harpist for the first time, she begged her mother to try the harp. It was love at first sight and not a week has passed since that Keeley has missed an opportunity to play.
Over the years Keeley has played with numerous local orchestras, won several awards and earned perfect scores in competition. Additionally, she played with the Kansas City Youth Symphony for 2 seasons and had the privilege of playing at the infamous Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Despite these accomplishments, Keeley’s favorite venue is still local nursing homes where she relishes the opportunity to engage with seniors who show their enthusiasm by humming or singing along to tunes they may recognize.
Now in High School, Keeley plans to continue playing throughout college and beyond.
